Your Bio
My name is Gerry L. Dickert. I am currently the editor of The Silsbee Bee in Silsbee, Texas, a 6,000-circulation weekly newspaper.
I have been a journalist in and around Southeast Texas since 1984. During that time I have refined my page design, writing, editing and photography skills.
This past year, I started working for individuals as a photographer, shooting weddings, senior portraits, sporting events and other special occasions.
